Finding a counsellor to suite you is not always easy and for this reason I have listed what I consider to be the most important points about me to help you decide if I would be the right person for you to see :-Shirley_Tarran

  • I am a fully qualified counsellor registered and accredited with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)
  • I am warm, empathic and non-judgemental and also have a good sense of humour
  • I work confidentially with my clients
  • I have a very high success rate with clients who come from all ethnic backgrounds and sexual orientations
  • I use several different models of counselling to help my clients integratively
  • I work with both adults and young people from the age of 11 upwards.
  • I work in both private practice and for Relate on their counselling team.
  • I hold an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check
